At the age of seven, Mic started taking lessons from Ken Eller, a renowned instructor and competition judge. In 2019, he placed fourth in the World’s Solo Piping Competition in Glasgow, Scotland. Additionally, he is currently one of the top ranking Grade 1 pipers in the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association. Last year, Mic was invited to all three invitational competitions that are reserved only for the top ten pipers in both the U.S. and Canada. He placed in two of those invitationals by winning 3rd in one competition set and 5th in another.
